The Heart & The Calling

Music has always been more than a passion for me—it is my breath, my warfare, and my daily walk with God. For years, I sang when I woke up, when I went to sleep, at home, at work, and at church. I knew that God dwells in the midst of the praises of His people, and that worship breaks chains.

But in June of 2015, my world was completely shattered. After a head injury, I developed a traumatic brain injury and a condition called speech aphasia. Laboring to speak even a few sentences a day brought unbearable, exploding pressure and agonizing, ice-pick pains to my head. Worst of all, I lost my ability to sing.

Losing my voice was the most devastating feeling I have ever experienced. My faith was shaken, and through daily tears of hopelessness, I cried out, “God, why would you take the singing voice of a person who praises you daily?”

The Miracle of Restoration

When the healthcare systems and medical tests left me with nothing but confusion, fear, and high medical bills, I knew my healing had to come straight from the Source. I persisted, praying in whispers through the tears.

God answers prayer. Through the laying on of hands by two exceptionally anointed women of God—my big sister Natalie and my Pastor’s wife Lady Vivian—the Lord did the impossible. The crushing pressure vanished, my speech became instantly clear, and my singing voice was miraculously, completely restored!

God gave me back so much more than I ever asked for. Today, I am an international instructor and trainer with nearly 10,000 students globally, and I sing every single day with an even greater eloquence for His awesome glory. On August 3, 2015, just two months after losing my voice, I recorded “Amazing Grace” in a cathedral in Cozumel, Mexico, to ensure God got the glory for His healing power. Since then, I have recorded multiple albums, including my song of triumph, “We Will Sing.”

Because I was given a second chance to praise, I believe in using every single tool available to create music worthy of the message. As an independent gospel artist, my vision is huge, but my studio setup is intimate. To bring the grand, heavenly sounds in my spirit to life, I marry classic, faith-filled songwriting with cutting-edge, next-generation technology.

Recently, by utilizing advanced AI-assisted tools for intricate vocal styling, layered harmonies, and rich, cinematic instrumentation, I can build massive, radio-ready soundscapes entirely from the ground up.

For me, technology isn’t a replacement for the soul—it’s an extension of the creative spirit. It allows a single independent creator to sound like a full, booming church choir and a live orchestra, ensuring that the final praise matches the absolute grandeur of the miracle God performed in my life.
